The path to a fiscalized POS requires, by law, the following steps:
- Ongoing signing of receipts using TSS.
- Provision of data in DSFinV-K format for the relevant tax authorities
- Registration of the POS (serial number of the POS with integrated TSS) with the tax office

Ongoing signing of documents using TSS - fiskaly SIGN DE
Every transaction must be signed. This makes all transactions tamper-proof. More info here. The signature data must be printed in plain text or as a QR code on the receipt. Here you can find an example receipt.
Provision of data in DSFinV-K format for the responsible tax authorities.
The aim of DSFinV-K is to define a structure for data from electronic recording systems ( POS systems). Since January 1, 2020, this applies to the use of the legally required uniform digital interface (§ 146a AO). The introduction of the DSFinV-K is intended to ensure that - the provision of data for the external audit of POS as well as for the cash inspection is carried out in a uniform manner.

Open for all POS systems and cash register environments
By integrating our fiskaly solution, you remain independent. We are operational in a wide variety of operational environments. If you change your POS manufacturer this is no problem with fiskaly.
Registration of the POS (serial number of the POS with integrated TSS) with the tax office
According to legal requirements, you are required to register each POS with the corresponding TSS at the responsible tax office. To do this, simply provide us with the required data and we will take care of everything else. [Currently not yet required as of 02/2022.]
The obligation to issue receipts is a nagging issue for many retailers. Understandably, it means high costs and in addition, it is a major environmental problem. Thermal paper cannot be recycled. With the e-receipt from fiskaly, we offer a future-oriented solution for these problems. For us, it doesn't matter whether you want to provide the receipt to the customer via NFC, send your customers an email, or, for example, make the receipt available in different gateways.
