Our KassenSichV API is ready for you! Test the fiskaly technical security system now and be ready for the KassenSichV.
fiskaly is your partner for fiskalization in Germany and Europe. Our team consists of experts from IT and finance. Together we developed a software solution, that solves the KassenSichV and the required TSS (
certified* technical security system) simply via the cloud.
*Please note, that our system is not certified (yet). We strive for a successful certification as soon as possible. As the technical guidelines and regulations are not final, the API is still under development. Slight changes in the software can therefore be expected.
The operational implementation of the KassenSichV will mainly affect developers. We make it easy for implementers and provide our data model and open source API .

We store the data transmitted to us in accordance with the law. fiskaly stores the data for the duration of the contract.
Archiving independent of the fiskaly system can optionally be implemented by connecting to various archiving partners.
No! The storage of data in the fiskaly cloud is already included in the monthly costs. There areno extra data storage costs.
Your data will be stored exclusively in German computer centres. The current server location for this is Frankfurt am Main. The data centers used by fiskaly were carefully selected and have the following certifications:
Cloud environment, runtime environment
ISO 27001 — Managing information risks
ISO 27017 — Controlling cloud-based information security
ISO 27018 — Protecting personal data
SOC 1 — Controls over financial reporting
SOC 2 — Controls over security, availability, and confidentiality
SOC 3 — Public report of controls over security, availability, and confidentiality

It can happen at any time that the Internet breaks down. We will inform you about how you can continue to work in a relaxed and legally compliant manner, even if the fiscaly cloud is not accessible.
The case when the cloud cannot be reached is addressed in the Application Decree to § 146a AO of June 2019. It must be logged that there has been a failure. Logging is carried out in accordance with the current logging regulations (GoBD). Our SDK takes care of the logging.
In the offline case, transactions are temporarily stored locally on the cash register so that they can be subsequently recorded and signed after the online connection has been re-established. he requirements according to the AEAO to § 146a of June 2019 only define the logging of the failure. This logging must be carried out by the recording system and saved according to the GoBD approaches (i.e. also with protection against manipulation).
It is recommended to voluntarily sign the data subsequently via the TSS in order to ensure that all records are also visible in the TSS. However, according to AEAO this is not explicitly specified.
If you use our SDK, a protocol about the failure will be created in case the fiskaly-cloud is not reachable. As soon as the system is available again, this protocol is also secured via the TSS. The AEAO does not currently set a transaction or time limit for offline mode. The only requirement is that the fault must be rectified promptly in a comprehensible manner.
The cash register regulation via cloud implementation is an option that more and more companies are considering. We explain why the cloud solution is the best.
Our software is still under development. We are constantly working on further details and improvements to provide even more simple and quick solutions for the KassenSichV.
